Researchers at the University of Illinois claim that too much exercise can kill you, and white men who work out for at least seven-and-a-half hours a week are twice as likely to suffer from heart disease than those who do a moderate amount. The study compared 25-year exercise patterns and found very active white men are 86 per cent more likely to experience a build up of plaque in the arteries by middle age.
