When Caroline Kennedy was six years old, her father, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. On the day of the funeral in Washington, DC, she rode with her brother John and their nanny in the back seat of a limousine which slowly made it’s way to St. Matthew’s Cathedral.
