Most people experience too much self-pressure. Do more. Be more. Produce more. Try reminding yourself that you’re a human, not a machine; that it’s perfectly fine to ease up on yourself and enjoy your life. That can look like this: sleep for 8 or 9 hours not 5 or 6. Exercise for 1 hour rather than 2 or 3. Study for 3 hours not all night long. Read for 2 hours not 4 or 5. Give yourself permission to do and enjoy things which bring you happiness and joy – yoga, meditation, walks, establish a new friendship, deepen an old one.
