Ten very good reasons:

1.  Escape from holiday stress of shopping, partying, celebrating, traveling;
2.  Take a much needed break from the pressure and demands of social gatherings and family obligations;
3.  Release burdens and stresses of the previous months;
4..  Prepare to begin a new year with fresh energy;
5.  Process the year’s ups and downs.  Look back to review accomplishments, challenges, and lessons learned;
6.  Embrace the winter season, one of more silence, reflection, and slower pace of life;
7.  Cultivate spiritual and emotional well being;
8.  Connect with others.  Being in the presence of  people outside your usual circle can inspire and lift your spirits in surprising ways.
9.  Recharge your holiday experience.  Rather than be deplete by holiday busyness a quiet retreat will strengthen resilience for better stress management.
10.  Challenge greed and grasping.  December is a time of vast over-consumption of everything:  food, drink, gifts and other pleasures.  A retreat helps put things into perspective.

Please join us for our annual holiday retreat:  Sunday, December 08,  from 5 - 7 pm.
