Researchers at the University of Illinois claim that too much exercise can kill you, and white men who work out for at least seven-and-a-half hours a week are twice as likely to suffer from heart disease than those who do a moderate amount. The study compared 25-year exercise patterns and found very active white men are 86 per cent more likely to experience a build up of plaque in the arteries by middle age.

While this information doesn't apply to the vast majority who don't work out enough, it does to those "gym rats" and athletic "warriors" who don't know when to stop.  As in all things, moderation is the key.
