I have had no control over the most important losses that I’ve experienced. The military coup, the divorce of my parents, my father’s abandonment of us, the death of my daughter. I could give you a long list. The only thing I can control is how I react, so I just plunge into whatever comes and say yes to life. What’s the worst that can happen?
