From time to time, evaluate who you’re spending time with. The Buddha taught that we become like the people we most associate with. So, take a close look at the people you are frequently see. If they are generally negative, pessimistic, lacking in self-discipline and constantly complaining about life, their attitude can influence your mind and mood.

If you’re surrounded by such persons, then begin to gently expand your social circle carefully replacing them by bringing more positive women and men into your life. Spend more time with them and less with those who are chronically cheerless and unmotivated to be better persons.
