Millennials, those born between 1981 and 1996, are re-shaping Western spirituality.  I've long admired them for abandoning doctrines and concepts which simply don't work and embracing views and perspectives which are in tune with human spiritual evolution.

Identifying with millennials and feeling like a millennial in spirit, I read with considerable interest this observation from Buddhist teacher Anam Thubten Rinpoche who says that "inspiring" spiritual developments are "
taking place among many millennials. As a generalization, whether with or without the spiritual badge, many of them tend to care more about the well-being of humanity and animals, and the important issues of social justice and the ecology. They have fewer hang-ups, such xenophobia, prejudice, and tribalism, in comparison with previous generations."
