HEALTHY LIVING THROUGH AYURVEDA
Ayurveda is a 5000-year-old science that teaches how to live in harmony with your in-born nature, known as your "constitution." When you're in harmony with nature, you feel well, strong and vital. When you are out of touch with nature, you feel sick, lethargic and depressed. No two people are exactly alike, and so the best way to live a life of balance will be unique to every person.
Janet Parachin is a Yoga and Ayurveda Wellness Consultant certified by the American Institute of Vedic Studies. Schedule a private Ayurvedic consultation for:
▪ Readings of your pulse, face and tongue
▪ Your constitution in balance and out of balance
▪ The best diet, exercise and lifestyle choices for your constitution
▪ Yoga postures, meditation and breathing exercises for your constitution
▪ Seasonal lifestyle changes to cope with environmental factors
▪ Ways to cope with the effects of injury, illness and aging
Special skills -
Pulse reading: Ayurvedic pulse reading is an in-depth process of discovering the basic constitution, the constitution out of balance, the health of the organs, body systems, the chakras, immune function, as well as the state of the mind in and out of balance. When you know your imbalances and which systems are under stress, you can take steps to reverse it.
Marma therapy: Marma points are places of vital energy on the skin. While reclining in a supported position, gentle pressure is placed on these points to stimulate the movement of energy, known as "prana," into these areas. It's excellent for relieving pain, recovering from injury, and boosting overall immune function. Marma therapy can be targeted to the head, neck and shoulders for headache and sinus congestion; to the trunk for digestive issues; to the back for all types of back pain; to the arms and legs; and the entire body. No extra charge for essential oils appropriate for your constitution.
